Neptune Tattoo Apprenticeship Winter 2026 is now open for limited enrollment.

Classes will begin October 2026, one beginner tattoo machine included with course enrollment. Apprentices will be eligible to continue tattooing at Neptune Studio upon completion.

Our apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on training in tattoo fundamentals, safety, technique, and professional development.

We are currently enrolling the following programs:

Beginner Tattoo Course

2 Month - Maximum 3 Students

Week 1: Introduction to Tattoo equipments and set up/ Understanding Tattoo skin anatomy

Week 2: Basic Tattoo Techniques and application in different tattoo styles

Week 3: Basic color Packing and blending

Week 4: Tattoo safety protocols and licensing

Month 2: Tattooing models under supervision

*At least 3 days a week required for Participation and individual practice

Advanced Tattoo Course (4 Months)

4 Month - Maximum 3 Students

Week 1: Introduction to Tattoo equipments and set up/ Understanding Tattoo skin anatomy

Week 2: Basic Tattoo Techniques and application in different tattoo styles

Week 4: Tattoo safety protocols and licensing

Month 2: Micro realism Flowers and Pets
Cover ups and corrections
Chinese Neo-Traditional Theory - By Guest Award Winning artist Logan Zhao

Month 3: Portfolio development/ Social media management

Month 4: Tattooing models under supervision

*At least 3 days a week required for Participation and individual practice

*Course completion dates may be adjusted around major holidays

Pricing

$4500/person for New student

$2000 for Returning/ Qualifying Students. Students may enroll in the Advanced Course for $2000 if they:

• have previously completed the Neptune Beginner Course or,

• Have a qualifying Tattoo portfolio approved by Neptune Tattoo Studio

Qualified students will join the program from month 2 and complete Month 2-4.

1v1 Tattoo Mentoring sessions

This service is for tattoo artists who want more guidance on furthering their tattoo skills. It is also available if you completed the beginner/advanced tattoo course and want to book extra model sessions.

You can book 1v1 Model sessions with Esther so she can spot any mistakes while you are tattooing and give you corrections on the spot.
